With a heart burning for God and a vision to see every individual rise into their divine purpose, the founder of SheRises Collective has dedicated her life to empowering others through faith, teaching, and authentic leadership.
Fikile Mnguni's journey into education and community development began overseas, where she taught in the United Kingdom before returning home to South Africa to complete her Master's degree in Education. She went on to found Ibanga Academy, a teacher-training institution where the majority of graduates have found employment in early childhood education.
She later worked at C.A.S.T. as Project Manager, leading a range of outreach initiatives and community development programmes. Today, she teaches isiZulu part-time at Ingane Yami orphanage school and trains the housemothers there in leadership skills, alongside her work as a GEDSI (Gender Equality, Disability and Social Inclusion) specialist — helping ensure projects cater to and accommodate a wide range of demographics.

Fikile also offers private isiZulu tuition and adult conversational isiZulu classes, which she sees as an important step in connecting cultures and building a sense of unity — breaking down the language barrier within KwaZulu-Natal.
